“And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.”  Philippians 1:6 (AMPC)

God’s Plans for Us

When God ‘calls’ us to do something He already knows how it’s going to turn out, because He knows ‘the end from the beginning’ (Isaiah 46:10).  Each one of us is unique and Father has a specific task in mind for each and every one of us that, and listen carefully to this, can only be fulfilled by us individually.

Be Obedient

Now don’t look at what God is asking you to do and immediately think:  “I must have made a mistake and misheard – there’s no way I could ever do that!”  All He asks is for us to be obedient and take the first step towards it!!  Then He’ll show us the next, and the next.  He’s a faithful God and what He’s begun in you He will definitely make sure is finished.

Go Forward

So go forward in what your Father is asking and showing you to do.  Be encouraged and remember that whatever this day, or any day, holds for us, we know, that we know, that we know….. that our Mighty God will go on working in us towards the completion of all that He wants to accomplish in us and through us.         

Don’t ever forget that God ALWAYS finishes what He starts!

We can Declare today that:  “God will finish the work He has started in me, to perfection.”
