God Says “I Will Do What I Said I Would Do”
One thing I have come to value in my friends is the fact that if they say they will do something – they do it. And with God, you can be even more certain that He will always do what He says He’s going to do! Sometimes the ‘timing’ isn’t always in line with what we think it ought to be – but Father does it in His timing – not ours…..
God’s Promise
In our verse for today Ezekiel tells us – “….I will do everything that I told you’ ”, says the LORD God.” (Ezekiel 12:28 EASY). And Isaiah speaks a message from the Lord in which we’re told that “….My Word…..will not return to Me without any result.” (Isaiah 55:11 EASY)
Embedded in My Spirit
This really is something we need to believe and get it firmly embedded in our spirits. Once again it comes down to the issue of whether we will choose to believe what God is saying to us – or not. At a deeper level what we are deciding is – to believe what God is saying or decide whether it’s better to rely on ourselves to produce what is needed….
For me it’s a ‘non starter’! There’s really no comparison. Why on earth would I want to depend on myself? Not when I can depend on God and know that He will always come up with the answer – exactly when it’s best for me – ‘cos He loves me.
Confident
That’s why we are able to know with, complete confidence, the truth that God will do what He says He will do!
