I wonder how many of you reading this ever feel that you’re alone and how do you go about coping with it? You see I have learned, and yes I’m still learning…. that it’s important to know what I need to do when the enemy attacks with his lies, which is what they are.
Jesus promised that His Father would send a Friend to comfort us – sending the Holy Spirit to live in each one of us. And the Holy Spirit, a Friend, would be exactly that! He would live in us and comfort, strengthen, help and teach us, and basically be there with us as our Friend. In fact – we would never, ever be alone because He is ALWAYS with us.
And even when we think we might forget, or not be able to remember or understand just what Father has shown us and spoken about – then the Holy Spirit will be able to remind us because it will have been deposited in our spirit. Another reason why we need to know God’s Word!
So when the enemy tries to convince me I’m on my own – I can remind him it’s a lie because my Father has told me differently!! There’s no way I’m on my own because I have the One, Who’s my best Friend living within me.
