“Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood.” Isaiah 54:4 NLT

Feeling Ashamed

I wonder how many of you reading this, if you’re completely honest, would admit to having things in your past or even currently, that you are ashamed of – if you were asked a direct question?

What did you do, or are currently doing, about it?  Has it been dealt with?  Or is it one of those things that’s ‘under the radar’, as much as possible; but keeps coming up to the surface resulting in feelings of shame, disgrace and quite often fear?

What can we do about it?  Our answer lies in God’s Word, Hallelujah!!  Isaiah tells us that the curse and power of shame can be broken off through the power of God.  He is the only One who can remove the shame, along with all the emotions experienced with it.

Grounded In God’s Love

We need to get grounded in the love of God, rather than in shame and disgrace, so that we are complete in Him.  And, in doing so, put on a ‘garment of praise’ to replace the ‘spirit of heaviness’ (Isaiah 61:3).  Jesus died to set us free and His ‘bloodline’ can be drawn across so ‘it is finished’!  If God is for me, who can be against me?

And to clinch it, receive and believe the Word we read in Hebrews 4:16 concerning the Grace that Father has given in His love and mercy.

Let’s Declare together that:

“I will not be an embarrassment in this world because of your unfailing grace on my life.”

Be Blessed 🙏❣️
