“TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMPC
Now this verse in Ecclesiastes, tells us there’s a right time for everything. But how do we, that’s you and me, find out whether we’re doing it in the right time and if, in fact, it’s the right decision anyway? I’m curious as to how, and what process you use, to make your decisions!
You might have registered already, if you’ve been working your way through the Blessing Daily, that I’ve learned over the years, that the only place to go to find answers to our questions – is to talk to our Father. What I call my first ‘port of call’! Actually, if you read the Psalms that David wrote, you’ll know that when he felt down or had any sort of problem – his first port of call was to call on God for His help.
But we’ve also got a bonus in this particular verse, because we’ve been given a promise. We have been told that there is a particular timing purposed, or we could also say designated, ‘under heaven’ (in other words designated by God) that the events happen in our lives.
So look at it this way, why would we want to try and find the answer we need concerning things happening in our lives, from anyone else? If it’s God’s timing, which we’re promised it is – what on earth is the point of asking anyone else to sort it out for us?
Let’s Declare together that…. “I refuse to be found in the wrong place at the wrong time, in Jesus’ name.”
