Age Cannot Stop God’s Promises Being Fulfilled
How amazing that Abraham, at a time in his life when he wasn’t physically capable, fathered a child. His wife Sarah, also at a time in her life when she was physically incapable of having a son, became pregnant – and the rest is history, so to speak. But I also think it’s amazing that they waited 25 years for that to happen – for something that they knew was physically impossible.
How good are you at waiting for the fulfilment of a promise that you believe God has made to you, and especially one that seems totally impossible for it to happen? I don’t know about you, but I find it quite difficult at times to wait….. I think the longest I’ve ‘held’ on to a promise is probably the time I believed God was going to take me to India. I waited 18 years – but it didn’t contain the ‘impossibilty’ factor that Abraham and Sarah had in the promise they were waiting for!
God’s promises NEVER fail – no matter how long we have to wait before He fulfils them, and it will ALWAYS be in God’s timing.
And AGE is never a deterrent in the mix either. It’s important that we remember that there’s no age in the Spirit – so never use ‘age’ as an excuse not to be obedient to what the Lord asks you to do. Whatever our age, if He has planned it and asked us to act, age doesn’t figure in the equation….
Declare together that…. “I am NOT too old to fulfil ALL of God’s promises and prophecies on my life.”
