The enemy loves nothing more than disrupt your peace by introducing fear into the mix in any way he can! He knows that as soon as fear, in any degree whatsoever, enters into the equation then everything becomes more difficult – and especially being able to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. By that stage we have lost our peace and are starting to be controlled entirely by our emotions…..
So, dear brothers and sisters, what is your strategy to get out of this situation? How do you deal with this attack by the enemy – this blatant lie that is being placed before you in the hope that you’ll believe it? Timothy tells us that “….God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 TPTk
God’s love for us is complete and unconditional and, as we accept and trust that love that He has for us, we will find there is no room for the fear that the enemy is always trying to convince us of. One ‘strategy’ to deal with Satan’s attempt to put fear on us, is to make use of our Declaration today. Declare it loud and clear and stand firm! And then thank the Lord for His love for you and for dealing with the fear. Ask Him to keep you alert to the lies of the enemy!
