“A heartfelt and compelling read.” Christine Marshall
“I can thoroughly recommend this book for its candid and honest content. It portrays a true and frank account of the Author’s journey throughout her life. The book describes how she has overcome her battles, fears, and problems through her faith and belief in God, and It provides great counsel and encouragement to the reader on how to cope with their own struggles and difficulties. It is also a testimony to the way she has seen God intervene and provide the solution when all looked impossible. Well done on your first introduction to the writing world, I will look forward to reading the next book!
This is a well written book of God’s encounter with Linda which wrought a miracle after a suicidal attempt. How God made Himself known to her which led to a continuing walk and growth in Jesus. We see in every episode of her day to day living that He neither leaves us nor forsakes us. We can identify with her journey through, depression, grief and those human frailties and struggles we all face. How He undertakes for us day to day with, tenderness, mercy and love in all the challenges we face. The emphasis is on the power of His Word and listening to His Holy Spirit in order to change into His likeness day by day to His glory. The book has been a great help to me in my walk.
Snippet Page 53: It is important for us to recognise when the Holy Spirit is leading us – and equally important to recognise when He is not! As you walk forward with the Lord you will learn, and we are all unique in the sight of God and we learn in different ways, to recognise when it’s the Lord, when it’s yourself, or when it’s the enemy. Sometimes you have to move forward and find you’ve made a mistake – but, amazingly, it’s all part of the learning process.” Carol Manley
Turning of the Tide
Released November 2022
WHY does anyone attempt to commit suicide?
In my case – I’d had ‘enough’ and hadn’t the guts to keep fighting.
BUT GOD had a different plan – He caused someone who was stone deaf – to hear me and come to my rescue!
And I’ve been forever thankful He did….
In this book (which I never dreamed of writing – until God challenged me) – I want to share with you how He turned my life around – just like ‘the turning of the tide’ on the seashore.
Essentially, it’s my journey with Jesus through all the challenges and the joy of walking with Him and, most of all to testify of His deep love and faithfulness through the many years that have passed by.
Blooming in The Wilderness
Released May 2023
Do you feel as though you’re living in some sort of WILDERNESS?
I believe there are many people who, as they grow older and still remain single, begin to feel like that. They start to feel that life is ‘passing them by’ and look enviously at all those married people that ‘have it all’!
Little do they realise that there are married people who are thinking the same sort of thoughts in reverse. And are envious of the freedom that they think being single would give them….
In both instances, although in this book we’re only looking at the situation with single people, they are looking at the wrong reasons for the way they feel.
We are going to look at some of the answers, to all the questions, that God has given to us
I do believe that our Father can reveal to us how we can be “Blooming in the Wilderness” instead of wilting. That we can ‘bloom’ and ‘flower’ in His love – no matter what the circumstances are that surround us; or what is said about them.
Sorrow & Joy in Grief
Released September 2024
We were in lockdown, during the early days of the Covid pandemic in 2020, when the Holy Spirit began stirring things up in my life.
It had been six years since a close friend of mine had gone home to be with the Lord. Suddenly, He began showing me that I had never really grieved and had essentially pushed it all down inside me — along with many other things in my life.
Had I realised that was the case? No, I definitely had not…
Did I need to do something about it? Yes, I certainly did…
I would like to share with you the healing, grief journey I embarked on — with Jesus walking with me every step of the way. Along this journey, a great deal was healed in me, not just my grief.
Why am I so keen to share? Two reasons! First — to give God the glory. Second — I believe there are many of you who have never truly embarked on your healing and grief journey. And many of you, like me, haven’t even realised it.
I believe God wants to help you and lead you on that journey of healing. He gave me the privilege of sharing with you what I’ve learned to help you. It’s challenging, but He will help you — and you are not alone.
