“Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us.” Romans 5:1 TPT
Is Peace a Priority?
I think it would be a fair statement to make that, for the majority of people, what they desire most in their lives is PEACE…. Why? It’s because it would give them freedom from the fear that grips so many!! But with all that’s happening worldwide it’s not a commodity that’s easy to come by!
Our Source of Peace
When Paul writes to God’s people in Rome, he reminds them Who is the Source of their peace. He says to them very clearly, that we can enjoy true and lasting peace with God in our lives, because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.
How?
This becomes true in our lives, when we are willing to put our faith in Jesus and believe what He has done for us. We also need to be on the watch for the enemy’s attempts to bring fear back into our lives, immediately causing us to lose our peace, and filling us with condemnation.
Condemnation is NOT from God
Condemnation is never from God. If there is something wrong in our lives our Father, out of love, will convict us of it through the power of the Holy Spirit. But, He won’t condemn us and make us think we’re being punished. How could He, when He went through the anguish of His Son dying and taking the punishment for us?
Truth
Accept the Truth of what God’s Word says. Walk in freedom of fear and condemnation, and Live in His Peace!
God bless you 🙏❣️
“Peace be with you” and peace be with those who live in his word.
“The Peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and mind in the knowledge and love of God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, be with you and all those you love and pray for” God truly loves us.
Something so amazing and wonderful which is given to us each and everyday.
I , after baptism, had terrible feelings for a long time of shame, not feeling worthy, but it came to me that i was doing an injustis to God by not accepting his salvation, it has been a long evolving road for me, now I am being near by reading and meditating on the Word, God continually talks and encourages me
