“Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!”  Exodus 14:21-22 NLT

BUT GOD

Can you imagine how the Israelites felt when they suddenly realised that Pharaoh must have changed his mind – his armies now appeared to be racing after them!  Pharaoh seemed to have finally given in and let them go, but now here he was chasing after them.  And they were facing the Red Sea in front of them which they knew they couldn’t go through…

‘But God’……two words that mean so much!  So often in the Word we read of impossible situations; then God enters the scene – and everything changes.  Moses ‘raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind’; and the rest is history!  The Israelites went through on dry land -but the Egyptians died as the sea returned to normal.

What is Blocking Your Way?

Have you something happening in your life that’s blocking your way, and stopping you going forward with Jesus?  That was what was happening to the Israelites.  They were being blocked from going forward into what God had prepared for them.  

Trust God

If that is where you are at the moment – then now is the time to activate your FAITH.  Don’t just try and reason it out yourself.  Trust God, and let Him unblock the way and take you forward into the next step He has for you.
