“Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses.”  Joshua 1:3 AMPC

Every Place I Walk Upon

The promise in this verse is the one that was made by the Lord to Joshua, and refers in particular to their expected entry into the Promised Land of Canaan.  But, it’s easy to dwell on the promise, and forget that the Israelites had to go in and ‘possess it’!  They had to fight for it, in God’s strength, but they still had to fight and ‘walk’ on it before it was theirs…

It’s a Challenge!

When the Lord speaks to us about something He’s taking us forward and equipping us to do – it’s so easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of it all.  And in that excitement, forget that there’s a very real part they we have to play in it all – which is often challenging.  And, yes, very often it involves hard work – and determination to hold onto what He has said and promised us.  Let’s be clear – He doesn’t wave His hand and it’s completed!

Doing Our Part

We have to do our part in it all, and it can be hard to stand fast in what Father has said.  And this is especially true when there are often those around us who may think completely differently and think we’re going in the wrong direction to what we should be.

Father’s Word

BUT – if we’ve a Word from Father, we can walk forward into the ‘land’ (whatever that may be) that He has called us to walk upon.  And, as we do it, we can be assured that He will give us the strength to be obedient and do our part.  And we can be absolutely certain that He’ll definitely do His part…..

We can Declare that:  “Every place that I walk upon is mine in the name of Jesus!”

Be blessed 🙏❣️
