When you have a difficulty, or difficulties – because there can often be more than one; how do you face it/them? Have you realised that what you think at that point, plays a big part in how you go forward? Our thoughts and words, which also play an important part, are very powerful!
My God Is With Me
We really do need to remind ourselves what God’s Word says and stand on His promise that He will go with us and fight for us against our enemies. Our ‘classic’ example is David when Goliath, the Philistine challenged the whole of the Israelite army to produce one man to fight him. But every time the Israelites set eyes on Goliath they ran in the opposite direction in fear!
God’s Authority
David was determined to fight Goliath and, when he went out to meet him, he declared loudly that “I come against you in the name of the Lord and in His authority” – and that was the key to knocking Goliath to the ground with his sling shot (using a stone) and cutting off his head with his own sword.
And that’s the authority that we have… What more could we ask but that Almighty God is with us in the battles that we fight? We have the Majority in Every situation! NEVER forget that God goes with you and He will ALWAYS fight for you. Hallelujah!!!
