“But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.”  HEBREWS 11:6 AMP

The Key

Faith is the KEY to every situation where we come to God in prayer.  It opens God’s storehouse in which there is salvation, victory, healing, blessing, deliverance…. not to mention joy, hope, peace and answered prayer.  And the ‘Key of Faith’ is available to each and every one of us.

Oswald Chambers writes that: “Faith is the whole man rightly related to God by the power of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.”  Without faith we cannot please God and He wants us to walk in faith, not for what He can give to us, but because we love Him.  But, in fact, although we don’t deserve rewards, that’s exactly what He gives us, according to Hebrews 11:6 – “He rewards those who earnestly and diligently seek Him.”

Declaring the Word of God

I always love to change the wording slightly and make it more personal to me and speak it out loud – that way it goes into my own ears, and somehow ministers to my spirit…..

“….it is impossible for me to please God without faith.  If I want to come to Him I must believe that God exists and that He rewards me as I sincerely seek Him.”  (Taken from the New Living Translation)

And I would also like to share another Declaration – also taken from Hebrews 11:6

“I walk by faith, I talk by faith and I live by faith.  My faith looks up to the Lord.”

I would encourage you to create your own declarations from God’s Word – and speak them out aloud to encourage yourselves!  I especially find this is helpful when the Holy Spirit highlights a verse to me that helps me through a particular situation.
