“…why would I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!” Psalms 23:6 TPT.

David, who wrote this Psalm, starts by boldly saying that “The Lord is my Shepherd”.  He started out being a shepherd – partly because his earthly father didn’t really think him capable of anything else….  Little did he know what God had in store for his son!

So David, was fully aware of all of a shepherd’s duties at that time.  He knew how he spent all his time looking after them – making sure they had enough food, that they were safe from any danger and, in fact, that they had everything they needed.

With Jesus being our Shepherd we can know that at EVERY moment on EVERY day of my life…. whatever is happening – Jesus is watching out for me.  And, if that isn’t enough, David tells us that  when my time here on earth is ended, then I will be “….back home in the house of GOD for the rest of my life.”  (Psalm 23:6 MSG)

As you make your declaration today, and meditate on God’s Word that it comes from, allow the truth of it to really settle in your spirit until you’ve grasped it.  That way – at any time that you need to be reminded and encouraged by this truth….. the Holy Spirit can bring it back to the surface for you to ‘stand on’.

Let’s Declare together that..   “Your unmerited grace and mercy hold my hands wherever l go.”

Be blessed. 🙏❣️
