Welcome!

To all of you reading this, the start of the first Blog on my new website – let me give you a warm welcome.  I have to confess it’s not only my ‘first’ blog on my new website – it’s also my first blog and my first website ever – so you’re about to join me on my new adventure that the Lord is taking me on!

Some of you will know me from my books; some from the declarations that I post daily on various Facebook pages and also on WhatsApp; and some probably won’t know me at all….

Why a Website? / Why a Blog?

Again, I probably need to confess that it wasn’t initially my choice and, indeed, I found (and still do at times) it very scary even thinking about it….  I had thought about it before, albeit briefly, since publishing my first book towards the end of last year (2022), but wasn’t drawn to go any further than ‘thinking briefly’!

But, as you’re possibly realising, my Father had other ideas.  I was at the Rise Up ladies conference at the end of March, and you can be sure I’ll be sharing more about ‘Rise Up’ as we journey together; and the Lord challenged us, as He does so often and especially if we might be feeling comfortable.  He challenged us all about opening up our hearts more and allowing Him to  draw out the gifts He’d placed within us to build His Kingdom – and not to hold back from fear of exposing ourselves.  He might well have challenged others in different ways, but that was His challenge to me.

There isn’t time or space to go into great detail here, but I might well share more another time – so watch this space!  But, suffice it to say, that out of that challenge (which was also vocalised to me by a dear brother in the Lord) I’ve been brought to the place I’m at now, of launching a website, including this blog, within it.  Alongside the website is also a new Facebook page linked with it and, again, I’m sure I’ll be sharing more about that too.

The most important detail that I do need to share is that the Lord has turned me around completely in my thinking and attitude to it all, as I’m being obedient and moving forward step by step.  Even if some of the steps are in the realm of what Joyce Meyer calls ‘Doing it afraid’; although mainly I’m excited about the journey and vision He’s taking me on.

Join Me!

So feel free to join me on this journey that I’ve begun, and maybe we can learn new things together.  But, most of all, my desire is to go deeper in my love relationship with Jesus – and you’re welcome to join me…..
