Death Entered Our Lives
Adam and Eve, by eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, egged on by the serpent, were the gateway to sin entering the lives of mankind. And with ‘sin’ came death and decay, which would never be able to be stopped without God’s intervention.
God Opened Another Way
The human race, and that includes us, were saved by the intervention of Jesus dying on the cross. He paid the price that should have been paid by us. It was through laying down His life, that He opened up the way for us to enter ‘life’ as God intended it to be. God never intended it to be a life made up of ‘death and decay’, which it had actually become. Within the life, that God has freely given to us, is healing for all of us.
A Choice to be Made
We have a choice to make – each and every one of us – and no one else can make it for us. We can choose to remain in ‘death and decay’; or, we can choose to accept the salvation that Jesus died to bring us. In doing so, we will receive the ‘resurrection life’ of abundance that our Father wants to give us!
